Craft Ideas to Make With Hospital Printables
Help kids to learn about different medical environments with these hospital coloring pages. These project ideas are a fun way to prepare young children for a doctor’s visit or hospital stay and put any nerves to bed!
1. Calendar of Care
Craft a calendar for longer stays in the hospital to act as a countdown to going home. Print medicine-themed illustrations and cut out small designs. Encourage your kid to color an image daily and glue it to a premade calendar. This fun activity helps to form a positive routine and gives your child something positive to look forward to.
2. Colorful Chronicles
Turn your artwork into a personalized storybook to prepare kids of all ages for a visit to the hospital, doctor’s office, or getting a shot. Complete a variety of coloring pages and bind them together using a stapler. Write short stories to narrate the healing journey and use these as discussion starters to calm your child’s worries.
3. Medi-Match Memory Game
